Launched in 2002 and located on the island of Oahu in Hawaii, Yvonne Design is a full service floral design and event design company dedicated to transforming vision into beautiful and memorable experiences. We design for a myriad of occasions, from weddings and corporate events to intimate dinners and special family celebrations across the Hawaiian Islands.

Yvonne’s passion for flowers developed at an early age where she spent time between her family’s two floral design studios in her hometown in Washington. It was during Yvonne’s studies at the University of Washington where her passion was taken to a whole new level. Through her coursework in psychology, she connected a flower’s powerful ability to touch the senses: smell, touch and sight by recalling a memory, evoking emotion and creating an experience. This interplay is felt as she skillfully weaves artistry and emotion throughout her designs.
Before launching Yvonne Floral Design in Hawaii in 2002, Yvonne created floral designs at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida. It was designing for a plethora of celebrity events and weddings at Mar-a-Lago where her unique style truly blossomed.
Ask anyone in the event industry about Yvonne and two words are bound to be revealed: meticulous and perfectionist. She is relentless about leaving no detail untouched and the result is always breathtaking. When not designing or executing the set up of an event, you can find Yvonne in nature either on a hike or at the beach at sunrise or sunset with her dog, Peanut. Other passions aside from floral design include styling, sketching and hand lettering.
Robert Niece
Designer / Production Officer
Rob has over 25 years of experience in the floral industry with his career beginning during his early high school years. His first exposure to flowers was at “The Little Floral Shop” in Long Island, NY where he learned all of the flower basics. After a four year stretch, Rob started working with “Town & Country Flowers” in Manhasset, NY, where his real passion for flowers blossomed. A unique opportunity took Rob to Colorado, where he thrived in the event industry designing for “Bouquets”. Rob ultimately ended up on Maui to pursue wedding floral design, and it was his lovely wife Christy that persuaded him to move to Oahu. Lucky for us! Rob’s commitment and knowledge of flowers gives Yvonne Design an edge, and we are truly blessed to have such a wonderful individual on our team!
